With a reputation for agility and resourcefulness, our client is on a mission to grow its international footprint and solidify its position as a leader in their field.
The EMEA region is a cornerstone of the global business, with an already well established multi-million revenue base. To drive the next phase of growth and execute a critical strategic turnaround, our client has asked us to identify and onboard a VP Commercial for the EMEA region. This role reports directly to the CEO and offers an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned commercial leader to architect the company's European success story, taking an existing organization to the next level.

This is a transformation-focused role, requiring a leader to rebuild strategy, culture, and performance across Europe.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve consistent double-digit growth for the EMEA P&L.
  • Lead, mentor, and restructure the European commercial team, instilling a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Architect and implement a turnaround strategy for the German market, reversing the current development.
  • Devise and execute an offensive growth plan to successfully penetrate and capture the French market, a key strategic priority.
  • Establish and manage robust, data-driven sales processes, including accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Personally engage with and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and specialist physicians to drive adoption and sales.
  • Serve as a hands-on leader, rolling up your sleeves to support the team in the field and lead by example.
  • Collaborate effectively with global leadership and teams worldwide to ensure strategic alignment and share best practices.

  • Preferably a degree in Business (Bachelor or higher) or from the life-science domain
  • A significant and proven track record in an international, senior commercial leadership role within the medical device industry is essential
  • Demonstrable experience managing a multi-million Euro P&L
  • Deep expertise in data-driven sales management, with a strong background in forecasting, sales process implementation, and holding teams accountable to metrics
  • Strategic mindset with proven experience developing and executing strategies for both market share defense and new market penetration
  • Extensive experience selling complex medical devices to specialist physicians within a hospital environment
  • A humble, hands-on, and resourceful leadership style, with high emotional intelligence and the ability to thrive in an agile, mid-sized company
  • Willingness to be based in or at least be present in Germany very often is a mandatory requirement
  • Fluency in English and German is essential, knowledge of French is a plus
  • Experience in the interventional medical device space is highly preferred
  • Proven success record in in the French, German and other major European markets is a prerequisite
