How you'll make an impact
- In close collaboration with Head Office, contribute to the valuation of claims provisions under Local GAAP, IFRS and Solvency II
- Work alongside the Senior Actuary to deliver actuarial advice and pricing insights for the Branch Manager.
- Take part in reinsurance, pricing, planning and underwriting activities.
- Exchange information and share key insights within the team to ensure effective collaboration
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field with strong quantitative focus
- Commencing or completing actuarial training is an advantage
- Experience in actuarial reserving (ideally motor), data-oriented tasks, regulatory reporting under Solvency II or similar
- Competent MS Excel user, strong skills to work with databases (Access, PowerBI) and programming
- First experience with actuarial software (preferably ResQ)
- Analytical thinking and result oriented, proactive approach
- Good team skills, the ability to work collaboratively with fellow colleagues
- Ability to communicate in English / Strong communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English and ideally German,
