How you'll make an impact

  • In close collaboration with Head Office, contribute to the valuation of claims provisions under Local GAAP, IFRS and Solvency II
  • Work alongside the Senior Actuary to deliver actuarial advice and pricing insights for the Branch Manager.
  • Take part in reinsurance, pricing, planning and underwriting activities.
  • Exchange information and share key insights within the team to ensure effective collaboration


  • University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field with strong quantitative focus
  • Commencing or completing actuarial training is an advantage
  • Experience in actuarial reserving (ideally motor), data-oriented tasks, regulatory reporting under Solvency II or similar
  • Competent MS Excel user, strong skills to work with databases (Access, PowerBI) and programming
  • First experience with actuarial software (preferably ResQ)
  • Analytical thinking and result oriented, proactive approach
  • Good team skills, the ability to work collaboratively with fellow colleagues
  • Ability to communicate in English / Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and ideally German,
