Are you looking to take the next step in your career with an international, sustainability-driven company? At KWS LOCHOW GmbH, we are offering you an exciting opportunity as International Production Research Lead (m/f/d) for hybrid cereals in our Business Unit Cereals.

In this expert role, you focus on developing methodologies in hybrid cereal production. You design and implement field production and seed processing research projects with an international scope. Your target is to identify and continuously improve methodologies and technologies to ensure the best possible economic production costs.

This permanent, full-time position can be based at our sites in Einbeck or Bergen-Wohlde (Germany). Alternatively, you may choose to work from our location in Mons-en-Pévèle, France. Flexible options for mobile work are also available

Your Tasks – Challenge meets Responsibility:

  • Assessment of optimal environmental, technological requirements and methodologies for production of hybrid cereals.
  • Planning and execution of field production trials. Analysis and interpretation of trial data, harvest data and quality results.
  • Management of internal and external trial providers.
  • Autonomous mentoring, training and consulting of internal and external stakeholders, involved in seed multiplication regarding continuous optimization of yield and quality (Internal colleagues, multiplication farmer, processors).
  • Collaboration in internal and external projects.
  • Ensuring activities are in line with budget targets.

  • Completed agricultural university studies with focus on plant production or comparable education.
  • Several years practical experience in farming or agricultural domain and experience in field production trials.
  • Solid agronomic know-how.
  • High level of flexibility, and reliable, goal-oriented as well as independent working style.
  • Very good communication skills and networking ability.
  • Very good written and spoken English; Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage.
  • Driving license B and willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%).
