Technical Author and Coordinator Technical Publications (m/f/d)


  • Creation of technical manuals for the operation, maintenance and repair of the Seastar aircraft and other aircraft.
  • Creation of data modules in the data management system.
  • Retrieval of the required engineering data like specifications, system descriptions, installation drawings, test specifications or bill of materials.
  • Preparation of illustration mock-ups.
  • Creation of descriptive, maintenance planning and procedural data modules for different technical manuals.
  • Finalization of the data modules including illustrations.

  • Bachelor degree in aeronautical engineering, alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education/ experience in the aeronautical industry
  • Working experience in Technical Publications in the aeronautical industry (min. 3 years)
  • Ability to create, assimilate and convey technical material in a concise effective manner.
  • Ability to create effective manuals using a careful research.
  • Good understanding of the aircraft systems and the aircraft structure.
  • Good knowledge of ASD-STE (simplified Technical English)
  • Good knowledge of the Arbortext XML and the MS-Office software.
  • Good knowledge of the AECMA 1000D specification.
  • Good knowledge of the German and English language.
  • Structured, independent and solution oriented way of working.
