DLT developer for the digital euro

  • As a DLT developer, you will help to implement DLT-based solutions for central bank digital currency.
  • This role goes beyond traditional development work – here, you will be helping to shape the future of European payments.
  • You will assist in developing and implementing DLT solutions and in programming smart contracts.
  • Your work will help to improve the efficiency and security of our digital payment solutions and promote their integration into existing payment systems.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or equivalent educational qualification or comparable knowledge based on at least three years of professional experience
  • At least two years' professional experience in software development, including programming and/or DLT development
  • Experience of working with DLT platforms (preferably Hyperledger Fabric), including programming smart contracts
  • Basic knowledge of API development
  • Basic knowledge of IT security (e.g. cryptography)
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD practices and version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to organise work tasks independently and work in a team within an agile environment
  • Very good English and good German communication skills

Remuneration and prospects
Remuneration that corresponds to pay grade E 11 of the wage agreement for the public sector (Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst – TVöD) (approximately €60,000 to €81,000, depending on your level of experience), bonuses for exceptional performance, future-oriented public sector job offering reliable working conditions, international working environment, varied tasks, opportunity to gain civil servant status or maintain existing civil servant status (up to A 11), extensive range of training opportunities
