Jack Howley, Founder and President of Howley Financial Group is pleased to offer a $1000 scholarship to one bright and creative student.  

Jack Howley of Howley Financial Group empathizes with the financial difficulties that many students pursuing a higher degree face. In order to lift this burden and help such students, he has initiated the Howley Financial Group Scholarship, which will be awarded to talented and driven student.

The winner of the Howley Financial Group Scholarship will receive a financial aid of $1000. The award winner will have written an original, creative and thought-provoking essay of700-850 words on the following prompt:

“Describe a moment in your life or background story that has shaped you into who you are today”

Requirements: 

In order to apply for the Howley Financial Group Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Currently be enrolled at an accredited US college or university as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior
  • Submit an original essay in response to the prompt given above

Award amount:

The Howley Financial Group Scholarship is a one-time, nonrefundable financial aid of $1,000.

How to apply:

Applicants must provide along with their essay, the following information via email:

  • First and Last Name
  • Telephone Number
  • Mailing Address
  • Email Address
  • Expected year of Graduation.
  • University or College where currently enrolled
  • Most recent GPA
  • Biography of 200-250 words

Deadlines: 

All submissions must be sent by December 15, 2021. Announcement of the scholarship recipient will be made on December 31, 2021.

Selection of the winner:

The scholarship will be awarded based upon the evaluation of the student’s application and essay. A unique, layered, and informative essay will be the key to winning the scholarship. The winning candidate will be informed via a formal email, which they must acknowledge at the earliest. Funds will then be sent directly to their financial aid or bank account.
