Senior Planning & Scheduling Specialist - (BIA0006IH)
•    Serve as a thought-leader in planning/scheduling and a technical expert in project controls. Successfully manage the relationships between the project controls functions—estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management—for a project or program.
•    Establish and effectively leverage cross-discipline relationships within the business group to facilitate project controls.
•    Integrate understanding of emerging business/industry trends and the implications of these trends for planning/scheduling.
•    Provide planning/scheduling leadership on strategic initiatives within a business group. Advise and counsel in areas of expertise.
•    Contribute to the interpretation of the proposal or project contract. Create, implement, and execute the strategy and plan for planning/scheduling activities that supports the overall proposal strategy or project requirements. 
•    Develop, via a top-down approach, project work plans and schedules that support the project/business group work processes and milestones.
•    Baseline and issue network-logic-driven schedules that meet the needs of, and are used by, the project team.
•    Update schedules with actual progress and forecast remaining durations, project milestones, and completion dates.
•    Prepare schedule risk analysis to forecast schedule contingencies and related cost impacts. Support contingency management.
•    Supervise the development and issue of accurate and timely project labor hour forecasts. Prepare and issue schedule analysis narratives including recommendations for corrective actions that are used by business group management and project teams to manage the work. 
•    Develop, implement, and monitor earned value systems that accurately measure progress and performance. Provide timely feedback to project and business group management. Thoroughly understand earned value terms. Understand the impacts and results of an earned value report.
•    Supervise the development, approval, and issuance of client and internal status reports that effectively communicate schedule status and identify critical path. Motivate the project team to define corrective actions for implementation.
•    Apply practical field experience with planning/scheduling knowledge to identify challenges to the project schedule and suggest mitigation plans.

•    Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related field. 
•    Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience with increasing responsibility.
•    Understanding EPC/full-service, program, and JV/consortium project delivery processes for multiple industries. Apply the principles of project controls to planning/scheduling work processes.
•    Demonstrating effective leadership in the execution of project controls activities within the department.
•    Developing and maintaining a positive working atmosphere. Motivating peers and junior staff.
•    Actively participating in the ongoing development and mentoring of junior staff.

•    Fluency in German, both written and spoken
•    Active membership in AACE, PMI, or similar association.  PSP or PMI-SP certification would be a plus.
