Our Process & Organization Development team in London, which is part of the central division Bank Management, is looking for a Process & Organizational Development Specialist (m/f) Your responsibilities: You will be the bridge between our Hamburg-based Process & Organization Development team and the activities of Berenberg's London office. You will build a deep understanding of both our headquarters' requirements and our London-operating model. You actively identify coordination needs and develop solutions that enable smooth intra- and interlocation processes, structures and communication. In a post-Brexit world, you will focus on reconciling organizational needs driven by UK supervisory authorities, e.g. the FCA, with the organizational needs driven by German authorities, e.g. BaFin. You will promote an understanding within the London office for the reasons behind headquarters requirements, including aspects such as risk, regulation and efficiency. Where applicable, you will gradually implement and monitor bank-wide requirements for processes and structures within the branch. By sharing your insights with your team in Hamburg on a regular basis, you facilitate the incorporation of local business needs into central decision-making and into centrally developed standards, methods and procedures. You will proactively and continuously involve all relevant stakeholders from either location into your work. Your profile: You have a university degree or work experience in the above areas. You have experience in fields such as process management, project management, change management or organizational development, preferably in the financial services sector or in a consultancy. Ideally, you have regulatory knowledge (e.g. MiFID II or requirements for corporate governance and risk management of supervisory authorities like BaFin or FCA/PRA). You convert concepts into practical implementation methods and have the persistence required to make long-term change possible. You are convinced that process, organizational and communication mechanisms are vital to the successful functioning of an ever-growing international bank. You pragmatically develop solutions that reconcile the need for flexibility in our investment banking business with the need for corporate standards. You are open to the perspective of others and use tact when dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. You are reliable and have high demands on the quality of your work and, thereby, contribute to the goal attainment of our Process & Organizational Development team. You are happy to be based in London permanently. You are willing to travel around 25% of your time. You are willing to spend your first 3-6 months mainly in Hamburg.
