To lead our Sales Team Germany, we are looking for a Manager Freight Sales Germany (m/f) Key Accountabilities: Lead the Freight Sales Team Germany Identify and close large profitable business deals with existing and new customers Establish and maintain regional commercial control and financial alignment Lead/coordinate complex negotiations with the targeted customers for all major contracts and identified opportunities ensuring the involvement and participation of stakeholders in compliance to applicable geographical P&L and legal procedure Ensure seamless handover to appropriate Key Account Manager and implementation team to deploy the contracted services Lead German contract negotiations and provide pro-active, high-level support for in market contract negotiations where necessary Ensure that effective mechanisms are in place to provide for regional forecasting, planning and analysis through ad-hoc and regular analysis and reporting. Apply these tools in proactively monitoring and leading intervention on non-performing regional-level contracts, undertaking diagnosis, liaison with client and local BU teams to identify issues, and renegotiation where required. Undertake full programme leadership and coordination of German business development resources to secure major regional deals (and local deals where key accounts are involved). Work in collaboration and coordination with regional and sector specialists to ensure customers experience a single united CEVA experience. Contribute to German product development (for example control tower solutions) and manage through to launch, ensuring that effective marketing and promotion tools are established Requirements: Degree qualified or equivalent; post graduate qualification desirable Impressive track record in freight forwarding industry with more than 10 years of experience in sales In-depth operational understanding of Freight Management Experience as a team leader Substantial experience of planning and managing budgets Experience in developing large accounts and multi-client management Strong commercial acumen and financial management abilities Proven ability to think and act strategically to deliver top line growth Demonstrable capability to formulate strategy internally and externally with clients Exceptional client relationship skills Strong influencing and negotiation skills High energy, entrepreneurial and results orientated Very good command of English language (verbal/ writing) Travel will be required at least 50% of the time, predominantly within Germany and across Europe Are you looking for an exciting and challenging employment in a pleasant working environment with good opportunities for your career and with short decision-making processes?
