Are you ready to shape the future of finance in a fast-growing scale-up environment? At auxmoney, you will join one of the leading fintech company in Europe as part of the senior leadership team in Germany. You will take ownership of the local finance function while actively contributing to group-wide strategic initiatives. Working closely with the Vice President Group Finance and the CFO, you will help define the financial direction of the company and position finance as a strategic enabler for innovation, scalability, and sustainable growth. This role combines strategic influence in one of the largest Structured Finance firms in Europe with hands-on execution in a dynamic, tech-driven organization.
What you can expect:
- Lead the German finance organization: You take full responsibility for accounting, controlling, and reporting in Germany, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scalability as the business grows.
- Drive finance transformation: You lead and contribute to group-wide initiatives that modernize finance systems, automate processes, and strengthen data-driven reporting and analytics.
- Ensure regulatory excellence: You are accountable for compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, ensuring robust financial governance in a complex regulatory environment.
- Own key external relationships: You act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions in Germany and work with Investment Banks and corporate finance advisors, managing these partnerships with confidence and credibility.
- Develop high-performing teams: You mentor and grow a strong finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with leadership: You work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to support strategic decisions and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong finance leadership background: You hold a professional accounting qualification and bring more than ten years of experience in finance roles, including senior leadership positions with significant transformation or project responsibility.
- Technical excellence: You have deep, hands-on knowledge of IFRS and are comfortable handling complex accounting topics in a fast-paced environment.
- International mindset: You communicate fluently in German and English and are confident working with both local and international stakeholders.
- Hands-on and pragmatic approach: You combine strategic thinking with operational execution and enjoy driving change rather than just defining it.
