Why Oviva?
At Oviva, we're on a mission to make sustainable, personalised, clinically effective care accessible to everyone and to deliver against our vision of becoming Europe's leading AI-powered chronic care platform.
Our digital programmes support people living with weight-related illnesses. While weight loss is a goal for many, our approach is about so much more: improving health, building confidence, and enhancing quality of life.
We've already supported over one million people across the UK, Switzerland, and Germany, with a shared service centre in Poland. Every conversation, coaching session, and line of code helps move us closer to a healthier future.
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Patient Experience Tribe. In this role, you won't just be moving pixels; you will be shaping the daily health journeys of our patients within the Oviva App. From evolving our AI coach to crafting engaging community features, your work will directly influence patient retention and, most importantly, their health outcomes
As a strategic member of our product trio (alongside Product Managers and Engineers), you will take ownership of the end-to-end design process. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Deep Discovery: Using user-centred and data-informed design to understand exactly what our patients need to succeed.
- Collaborative Innovation: Partnering closely with stakeholders to align on a product vision that is both impactful and technically feasible.
- End-to-End Design: Guiding a project from the first spark of research and concepting through to high-fidelity prototyping and final delivery.
- Advocating for the User: Conducting interviews and usability testing to ensure every design decision is backed by real-world insights.
- System Building: Helping maintain and scale our design systems to ensure a consistent experience across our entire product.
You are a solution-oriented communicator who thrives in agile environments. You likely have:
- A Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience designing software products, with a heavy focus on mobile app design.
- A Strategic Mindset: The ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems and turn them into creative, effective solutions.
- Research Expertise: Hands-on experience with UX research methods like shadowing and usability testing.
- Collaborative Spirit: A love for working in a fast-paced team where priorities can shift, and collaboration is constant.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Figma and user research tools.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
Bonus points if you have:
- A background in digital healthcare, nutritional care, or behaviour change.
- An understanding of behavioural psychology.
- Experience in AI feature development or motion/animated design.
- A mission-driven environment focused on making a real-world impact.
- High-growth opportunities with a clear path to broader strategic leadership.
- A flexible remote/hybrid work culture across the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Poland.
- Annual learning & development budget.
- Home working allowance and flexible working hours.
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and inclusive policies (enhanced leave, etc.)
Having a culture that people want to work in, is very important to us. We do this by keeping our values at the forefront of everything we do:
We put the patient first, We empower our teams, We make it happen
Oviva is passionate about creating an inclusive culture that celebrates diverse voices and perspectives. We are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds and identities.
