For this reason, we are looking for a qualified leadership personality (m/f/d) as VICE PRESIDENT GROUP IT.


In this newly defined and entrepreneurial leadership position, you will be responsible for the IT strategy of our group of companies and its implementation, the alignment of IT with our business goals, and the management of our digital transformation to enhance operational performance. You lead our global IT organization (> 50 employees in applications, infrastructure, cyber security and support), and ensure mature, scalable and secure systems across all functions (with a particular focus on manufacturing, sales, service, finance and HR) and regions. In addition to the technical elements of the position, the role is designed to be business-oriented in the sense of a business enabler, with corresponding effects on IT / service philosophy, organisational setup, people management and skills development. You will report directly to our senior management.


As an IT professional and generalist, you are successfully working in a comparable position (e.g. Director/Vice President IT, CIO), ideally in an international, industrial corporate environment of comparable size, and have a proven ability to fulfil such a demanding role both professionally and personally. You are experienced in the development and implementation of IT strategies, the design of business processes and the selection, introduction and optimisation of complex software and hardware solutions. In addition, you are a cross-functional relationship builder, a professional and empathetic communicator and thus a translator of tech language into business value (and vice versa). As a confident and authentic leader with an intercultural background, you are able to integrate and coordinate, think strategically and innovatively, understand your role as non-hierarchical, and act in a hands-on and business-oriented manner. You lead your employees in a challenging and motivating way, promoting a culture of performance, reflection and change. Willingness to travel and fluent German and English language skills are required.
