Our Consulting Enterprise Applications team is responsible for shaping and managing the portfolio of tools and applications that enable our consulting business. We ensure that our enterprise applications effectively support project delivery, knowledge management, and internal operations. Working closely with senior consulting stakeholders, Central IT, and external vendors, we align our application landscape with business strategy and user needs.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Own and manage the application portfolio for consulting, steering the selection and lifecycle of enterprise applications.
- Evaluate new tools, define business cases, and ensure alignment with consulting strategy, global standards, and IT architecture.
- Translate consulting needs into application roadmaps by gathering requirements from stakeholders and defining functional requirements.
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate implementation, enhancement, and decommissioning initiatives across the portfolio.
- Monitor application performance, user satisfaction, and adoption; define and track KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage financial aspects of the application portfolio, including licenses, vendor contracts, and project budgets.
- Define technical standards, reference architectures, and reusable components for integrating AI solutions, in close collaboration with Central IT infrastructure and cloud teams.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and refine AI use cases that can be delivered via the AI orchestration platform.
- Coordinate with data scientists, application owners, and external partners to design robust, scalable, and maintainable end-to-end AI solution architectures.
- Establish governance, standards, and operating procedures for AI usage (including data protection, responsible AI, model lifecycle management, access control, logging, and monitoring).
- Oversee incident and change management, as well as continuous improvement of AI services in production, ensuring stable operations and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Develop and maintain the AI platform roadmap in alignment with our enterprise application and cloud strategies, including build-vs-buy decisions and technology selection.
- Manage relationships with AI and cloud vendors, negotiate and monitor contracts and SLAs, and contribute to planning and controlling the budget for AI platforms and services.
- Offer technical leadership to AI engineers, developers, and partner teams working with the AI orchestration platform (e.g. best practices, code and architecture reviews, platform standards).
- Enable and upskill key stakeholders (product owners, developers, super users) through guidelines, documentation, and training to foster consistent and effective AI adoption across the organization.
- Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally complemented by training / certifications in project or portfolio management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, ITIL) and/or consulting / enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, CRM, PSA, knowledge management platforms).
- Typically six to eight years of experience in management consulting, IT portfolio management, or enterprise applications management in a professional services environment.
- Proven track record in steering cross-functional application or digital initiatives with multiple stakeholder groups (business and IT).
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, structured and action-oriented working style, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
- Solid understanding of enterprise application landscapes and cloud-based solutions; high service orientation and reliability towards internal clients.
- Excellent English skills; additional languages are an asset.
