As Regional HSE Manager for Western Europe, you will shape and drive a strong Health, Safety & Environmental framework across ALPLA's Western European organization. You are a visible leader on the shopfloor, a cultural role model, and a strategic partner to the business – turning HSE standards into everyday practice.
- Implement and continuously develop the HSE framework for Western Europe, including standards, processes, controlling, and compliance.
- Champion a proactive HSE culture through training, communication, and leadership engagement.
- Be present on the shopfloor: coach teams, identify risks, and promote safe behaviors.
- Lead incident and near miss investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Lead and support country and local HSE managers across more than 50 plants.
- Act as a key interface to Corporate HSE and the global HSE network.
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar.
- Recognized HSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor).
- Minimum 5 years of HSE leadership experience in a multi-site industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills with a hands-on mindset.
- Business-oriented thinking and passion for safety excellence.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Based in Munich, Germany, with willingness to travel across Western Europe.
