About the Role

As Key Account Manager at LRE, you are the commercial owner of selected strategic customers. Your focus is on managing ongoing business for established product lines — ensuring stable volume, healthy margins, and long-term customer satisfaction. You act as the primary point of contact, drive commercial discussions, and coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and lifecycle performance.

You bring structure, commercial judgment and relationship clarity. You know when to negotiate, when to escalate, and when to realign internally.

Customer & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main commercial interface for key customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at operational and decision-maker levels.
  • Develop account strategies and guide internal alignment around customer priorities.

Commercial Performance & Negotiations

  • Lead price negotiations, contract reviews and annual commercial discussions.
  • Manage and challenge customer forecasts to ensure accuracy and profitability.
  • Monitor revenue and margin performance and initiate targeted improvement actions.

Lifecycle & Value Engineering Coordination

  • Drive customer conversations on cost-out, efficiency and lifecycle changes.
  • Coordinate product or material change requests and communicate implications internally.
  • Ensure commercial readiness for product transitions or adjustments.

Cross-Functional Steering

  • Bring together Technical Sales, Customer Operations, Production, Finance, Quality and Regulatory as required to deliver a consistent customer experience.
  • Clarify customer requirements and ensure alignment on commercial impacts.
  • Act as escalation owner for commercial or delivery issues — while execution remains with the responsible operational teams.

Clarification of Scope (Important)

This role does not execute technical solution definition, operational delivery or invoicing. The KAM leads, coordinates and owns the commercial outcome.


  • Several years of experience in B2B account management, ideally with serial / lifecycle business.
  • Confident negotiation skills and solid understanding of pricing, cost drivers, margins.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities across stakeholder levels.
  • Structured working style with attention to detail and forecast discipline.
  • Fluent English required; German advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to customers and LRE sites.
