With the aim of expanding our team, we are seeking 1 candidate for the position of:
Microgrid Division Sales & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – GERMANY (m/f)
- Define plans and deliver on sales targets through focused customer plans and execution, with particular emphasis on accelerating growth of KONČAR's microgrid business in Germany
- Identify and capture new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments for microgrids in the local German market
- Lead market engagement and outreach activities focused on microgrid technologies, regulatory developments, and strategic partnerships that advance Company and Group strategy initiatives
- Analyze market (including recent trends), customer needs, and competitor landscape (including product portfolio) to guide sales strategy and inform Group strategic planning for the region
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and public institutions supporting the development of microgrids
- Present KONČAR's microgrid solutions effectively to showcase value and differentiation potential to customers
- Manage commercial processes including proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Facilitate local legal or regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other KONČAR teams (e.g., Technical and Engineering; Regulatory, Legal and Compliance) to offer tailored microgrids solution and ensure outstanding customer experience
- Track performance against plans and report on key outcomes as well as improvement areas
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or relevant technical qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in B2B electrotechnical solution development / sales role
- Good technical understanding of microgrid components including transformer stations, energy storage (BESS), (renewable) energy sources, management systems (e.g., MGMS, EMS, SCADA) and demand side (e.g., EV charging, industry consumers)
- Electricity production, transmission, distribution principle of work and TSO/DSO grid rules
- Use cases for relevant industries (e.g., warehousing, commercial sites, critical infrastructure)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
- Proficiency in MS Office (incl. MS Power BI)
- preferably proficiency in CRM software (such as MS Dynamics)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
