R&D Engineer (m/f/d) Research & Development Innsbruck, Austria Professionals Full-Time 38.5h Permanent Apply Now Your Tasks Design, implement and evaluate algorithms for medical image analysis and computer vision, incorporating recent advancements in the field Elaborate on innovative techniques for advanced anatomy visualization Analyse and interpret multi-modal medical imaging data and surgical workflows Contribute to the development and refinement of in-house research software prototypes Stay updated to the state-of-the-art knowledge in relevant domains; generate and maintain technical documentation and scientific reports Your Profile Master’s degree or higher degree (University, FH) in Computer Science, Medical Physics, or a related field, with a strong focus on Computer Vision and Computational Imaging Prior experience in computational anatomy, multimodal imaging, generative models, and synthetic data is highly desired Proficient in C++ and Python; familiarity with DICOM, VTK and ITK is a plus Proactive and analytical, with a collaborative mindset and a strong willingness to engage deeply with anatomical research Fluency in spoken and written English; German language skills are an advantage Your Benefits Central Location Employee Events Flexible Hours International Environment Onboarding Further Training Central Location Employee Events Flexible Hours International Environment Onboarding Further Training Further information Minimum Salary Annual gross salary from € 57,785.75, based on professional qualification and experience.
