As Director Commercial Excellence, you will be the catalyst for commercial success. Your mission: design and implement best-in-class sales processes, tools, and performance frameworks that enable our teams to capture market opportunities and deliver sustainable growth. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives that strengthen NovaTaste's position as a leading partner in its core markets (CPG, food service, butchers).
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial excellence strategies to optimize sales effectiveness and profitability
- Design and monitor sales performance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
- Lead pricing and margin optimization initiatives in collaboration with Finance (Pricing team) and Sales
- Support go-to-market planning, including segmentation, targeting, and resource allocation
- Identify and implement best practices in sales processes and tools
- Conduct market and competitor analyses to inform strategic decisions
- Drive CRM adoption and data quality, ensuring actionable insights for decision-making
- Facilitate training and capability-building programs for sales teams
- Act as a business partner to Sales leadership, providing analytical support and recommendations
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- 5-10 years of B2B experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, or Business Development, ideally in food ingredients industry
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
- Proven track record in sales process optimization and performance management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Independent, structured working style with strong problem-solving ability
- Fluent in German and English is a must
- Willingness to travel within Europe (30-50%)
