What You Will Do

  • Service Compliance & Risk Management: Proactively monitor and audit the security, integrity, and availability of Trimble's GNSS correction services and associated software products to ensure continuous compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Quality Standards & Metrics: Lead the definition, implementation, and continuous refinement of compliance controls, benchmarks, and audit-ready documentation, focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
  • Customer Contract Engagement: Actively participate in defining and reviewing service contracts—especially Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with major corporate clients, such as automotive OEMs—to ensure commitments are feasible, compliant, and enforceable.
  • Compliance Reporting & Incident Documentation: Generate comprehensive compliance audit reports for both internal stakeholders and external clients, including detailed incident reports (e.g., 8D incident reports) that document root cause analysis and corrective actions related to service breaches or failures.
  • ISO 20000 & Regulatory Compliance: Drive and maintain compliance with ISO 20000 certification requirements and other relevant industry regulations (e.g., SOTIF and ISO 21448, ISO 26262, ISO ISO/SAE 21434 (Road vehicles – Cybersecurity engineering, ASPICE, SAE Standards (e.g., J3016)), ensuring our team is always prepared for internal and external audits.
  • Service Management System Evolution: Maintain and enhance our core Service Management Systems (SMS) to support compliance documentation, tracking, and auditing, including the ticketing and asset management platform (Xurrent) and documentation wiki (Atlassian Confluence). Leverage your Python scripting skills for automated compliance checks and data extraction.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Leverage Trimble's AI-powered solutions—including LLMs—to improve compliance monitoring, documentation quality, and operational efficiency through insights extracted from internal technical documentation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Compliance System Implementation: Proven experience in implementing, auditing, and enforcing ITSM and regulatory compliance processes within technical/IT service environments.
  • ISO 20000 Compliance: Track record of driving or maintaining ISO 20000 (or similar ITSM/Quality Management) certifications and a strong history of successful participation in compliance and security audits.
  • SLA and Contractual Compliance: Hands-on experience defining, negotiating, monitoring, and enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and other contractual obligations with corporate clients.
  • Technical Compliance Monitoring: Background in monitoring and assuring the security, integrity, and regulatory adherence of complex technical services and software.
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Experience generating comprehensive compliance, audit, and incident reports (e.g., 8D) for diverse technical and executive audiences.
  • Service Management Tooling: Proficiency with SMS platforms (e.g., Xurrent, Confluence) for documentation and process control.
  • English Language Proficiency.

Additional Qualifications that set you apart

  • AI/ML Integration (Desired): Understanding or experience leveraging AI/ML, particularly LLMs, to optimize quality processes.
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Python) for automation
  • Foreign languages, since we have an international team and customers.

As our Technical Compliance Professional of Network Operations, you'll be responsible for the integrity and availability of Trimble's GNSS precise positioning products, which serve hundreds of thousands of customers in traditional markets like surveying, construction, and agriculture. A major focus area for you will be the collaboration with our automotive customers in autonomous driving. You'll work closely with Trimble teams in engineering and marketing to define and ensure the quality and attractiveness of our GNSS precise positioning products. You'll oversee team compliance with organizational policies and processes to guarantee sustained quality, while also fostering an environment of flexibility and continuous improvement to benefit both the team and our services.

You'll be an integral part of our experienced team of talented network operations engineers in multiple global locations, teaming up to ensure the superior reliability of our GNSS reference stations, server systems, and the seamless satellite broadcast and internet delivery of our real-time products.
