In this role, you will be responsible for Strategic Marketing for the ZEISS EyeCare Network from the perspective of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (CZM). ZEISS EyeCare Network is the establishment of a Global Network to provide a long lasting holistic Eyecare solution for consumers/patients - bringing them together with Opticians, Optometrists and Ophthalmologists by two ZEISS segments, ZEISS VisionCare & CZM. In this fixed-term role (maximum of 36 months), you will provide insights from the CZM perspective and patient-centered marketing while carrying out the marketing strategy, campaigns, and assets. You will play a key role in addressing customers (e.g., surgeons, clinical staff), steering patient marketing and aiding the development of the ZEISS Centers of Excellence MED Ophthalmology program, an exclusive community of clinics, to contribute to the growth of the ZEISS EyeCare Network.

Your Role

  • Shape the Future: Leverage your research skills to define, collaborate on, and implement a cutting-edge marketing strategy for the ZEISS EyeCare Network from the CZM perspective. Your initiatives will work in conjunction with OPT Strategic Marketing to effectively target our defined audiences across selected markets

  • Collaborative Leadership: Work hand-in-hand with the Strategic Marketing lead from ZEISS VisionCare and country marketing leads to bring our overarching strategy for the ZEISS EyeCare Network to life, ensuring a cohesive approach across all levels

  • Integrated Marketing Excellence: Engage closely with primary project stakeholders, including those from OPT Strategic Marketing, to formulate and carry out integrated marketing plans that aid global product launches together with ZEISS VisionCare

  • Inspire and Engage: Present strategic initiatives in a compelling and inspiring manner to both internal and external stakeholders in a global context, driving enthusiasm and alignment around our vision

  • Foster Growth: Work together with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to effectively implement the growth strategy for the ZEISS EyeCare Network, improving our global market presence and influence


  • You hold a Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, equipping you with a solid foundation for strategic thinking

  • You bring substantial experience as a marketing manager, brand manager, or consultant within the healthcare sector, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, OTC, or consumer health (such as oral care or health tech)

  • You possess a proven history of effectively driving product launches and marketing initiatives for both B2C and B2B sectors, skillfully navigating intricate project management settings.

  • Your hands-on experience in defining, planning, and executing project plans with various stakeholders ensures that you can lead initiatives to fruition

  • You bring a solid foundation in campaign reporting, highlighting the co-development of KPIs to analyze and report on campaign performance with the assistance of Marketing Campaign dashboards.

  • Your strong interpersonal, intercultural, and international skills enable you to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral

  • You are open to international travel (10-20%), embracing opportunities to connect with global teams and stakeholders

  • This role is offered as a fixed-term contract for 36 months, providing you with a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment
