Senior Specialist (m/f/d), HR Transformation

The HR Global Process Design Team within Corporate HR MKS plays a central role in supporting the agenda of the CHRO and HR Leadership Team. As a key element of the HR Strategic Plan, MKS HR will document all HR processes following a holistic framework to document, improve, and understand all HR activities.
As Senior Specialist, HR Transformation (m/f/d), you will be part of a truly global, tight-knit, and motivated team, and drive the success of HR and MKS as a corporation. This position reports to the Senior Program Manager HR, located in Moabit, Berlin who reports to the Senior Director Talent and Org Development in the USA. The work will be carried out mainly virtually and requires a high degree of flexibility and autonomy, depending on strategic needs.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Drive HR transformation projects across 40 countries and 3 regions to improve HR excellence. Contribute to projects to improve HR operating model, organization, digital adoption, service quality, or other aspects with process knowledge. Projects will be multifaceted for any project on the CHRO agenda, including but not limited to: Mergers & Acquisitions, HR Shared Services, Digital HR / HR AI, HR Reorganizations, Talent development.
- Drive End-to-end process excellence by collaborating with various stakeholders in other functions, e.g., Global IT, Global Finance, Legal, Procurement, and others.
- Conduct Global Process Design across all HR Process areas from discovery through Global Design signoff. Prepare and facilitate workshops with global and local stakeholders to support the HR Business Process Owners in driving their transformation initiatives.
- Author world-class HR Process documentation in MKS Process Designer / Navigator by Celonis. Monitor and enhance Global HR documentation (e.g., policies, templates, and work instructions) across all Process Groups and to support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Be a change agent within the company and help identify areas for improvement across processes, systems, and organizations within HR. Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs by Global HR, guiding stakeholders to the available knowledge base, and drive change via training & communication.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, business administration, science, or comparable.
- Requires several years' experience, ideally in a consulting firm or as part of an HR transformation project of a multinational corporation
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and German (verbally and in writing).
- Excellent understanding and ability to drive process design projects, including workshop preparation, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience authoring in at least 1 process design solution, like Celonis, ARIS, Signavio, Visio, or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of Human Resources and its interaction with related processes (Finance, IT, Legal).
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others, build consensus, and drive change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
