Schwan-STABILO is an internationally operating, family-owned group with more than 5,200 employees worldwide and a total turnover of around €800 million. Our group includes a leading private-label manufacturer of cosmetic products as well as market-leading branded businesses in writing instruments and outdoor equipment.
In this newly created position, you will act as the strategic right hand to the Group CEO. You will bring clarity, structure, and alignment across divisions, amplify the impact of the CEO Office, and help drive the strategic and cultural transformation of the Schwan-STABILO Group. Working side by side with the CEO, you will collaborate closely with the Group Board of Management, the Division CEOs, and key stakeholders across all brands and functions — especially within the Strategy Department.
Your key responsibilities:
- Strategic partnership Support the CEO in preparing strategic decisions, shaping priorities, and ensuring alignment across the Group's leadership circle. Anticipate needs and bring focus to complex topics.
- Organizational effectiveness Design and maintain an effective operating rhythm for the CEO Office. Ensure that meetings, decision materials, and communication flows are well-defined, efficient, and aligned with the Group's ambitions.
- Portfolio and initiative management Plan, coordinate, and monitor cross-functional initiatives, strategic programs, and transformation activities. Maintain oversight of priorities and ensure consistent follow-up and progress. Continuously develop the organization and communication structures of the CEO Office.
- Leadership and culture support Strengthen collaboration across divisions and functions. Support change management, culture development, and leadership communication. Represent the CEO in selected meetings when appropriate. Plan, coordinate, and monitor strategic initiatives, projects, and transformation programs.
- Analysis and preparation Synthesize information from multiple sources and prepare concise, high-quality materials for senior decision-making. Structure and frame complex issues for key stakeholders.
- University degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrated in a senior strategic or operational role.
- Experience in project, program, or change management and in working directly with top management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions without formal authority.
- High level of discretion, emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-motivation.
- Structured and reliable working style with the ability to turn ambiguity into direction.
- Fluency in English is required; German is an advantage.
