For our committed team, we are looking for a (Senior) Associate (m/w/d) Private Credit to join us as soon as possible at our Munich office.
Long-term and responsible action is part of your entrepreneurial mindset. You will contribute to the strategic development of our team. As a member of the Private Credit investment team, you support successful mid-sized companies through the selective provision of financing and offer investors access to Private Credit investments in Europe and the US via specialised funds. You will help build a diversified and resilient portfolio across all market cycles. You will contribute to the identification of investment opportunities and grow into an analytical investment specialist. You will play an integral role in all investment decisions across strategies that include senior, subordinated and opportunistic financings.
This includes:
- Supporting the investment team with due-diligence reviews of direct, co-investments and funds within the Private Credit asset class
- Assisting in global market coverage
- Supporting the identification of investment opportunities
- Contributing to the selection and execution of investments, in particular by preparing due-diligence results for investment recommendations and presenting opportunities to clients, colleagues and internal committees
- Monitoring existing investment portfolios and providing investment updates
- Participating in update calls, fund meetings, AGMs and similar formats including taking notes and compiling relevant information
Your qualifications
- Excellent university degree with a focus on economics or finance
- Initial solid experience in Private Debt, Private Equity, Leveraged Finance, Restructuring or Management Consulting
- Initial exposure to credit and financing projects is an advantage
- Strong numerical and modelling skills
- Very good German and English skills
