IT Cloud System Engineer (w/m/d)
- As a part of an experienced team, you will ensure maximum service availability and performance for the DE-CIX Service Connect Platform and support the continuous development of our growing services platform
- The position involves working closely with product development teams other technical platform engineering teams, requiring a broad understanding of systems and applications as well as the ability to collaborate across disciplines
- As a IT Cloud Systems Engineer you will develop a solid understanding of DE-CIX' products and processes. You will have the opportunity to apply your experience, and to use your initiative to tackle a broad range of challenges and contribute to the continuous success of DE-CIX.

- Strong technical background with experience in IT hosting environments (cloud and on-prem), virtualization and storage technologies as well as Linux/UNIX systems, base infrastructure services (DNS, Mail), monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana, Zabbix) and basic networking (Ethernet, IP, Routing, Firewalling)
- Ability to automate infrastructure and daily tasks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Salt, as well as scripting or programming languages like Python
- Ensure stable and reliable IT services, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, fault analysis, service design/development (on-prem & cloud) and contributing to platform automation
Clear communicator, self-motivated, able to work independently, eager to share knowledge, contribute ideas and continuously develop skills, and open to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
