  • Investigation on techniques to simulate/model aperiodic metasurfaces

  • Determination of specific properties of aperiodic versus periodic metasurfaces for given applications (metric and merit function definition, computing cost)

  • Comparison of theoretical and experimental results

  • Documentation of the algorithms developed and results


  • A background in Electromagnetism (interferometry, scattering, ...) and/or mathematics (topology, discrete and combinatorial geometry, mathematical crystallography, ...)

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in one of the above subjects and experience in these fields is a plus

  • Applied knowledge in Python and /or MATLAB
