We are looking for new team members for a new project in our High-Tech Solution Center in Gärtringen. As Commercial/Rates Specialist (m/f/d) you are the central point of contact between the operational Kuehne+Nagel departments and our customers.
How you create impact
- Commercial escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders for any relevant topics within the Commercial department
- Support with multimodal rate schemes (Ocean/Rail/Road/Air/Sea-Air) in the context of our Rate Card Management activities
- Leading freight tenders, including analysis, preparation and processing
- Creation of presentations for our customers and business partners
- Internal as well as external rate negotiations
- Collaboration with customers and different Kuehne+Nagel country organizations in an international environment
- Collaboration and support on projects
- Experience in freight forwarding and in logistics services, and a deep understanding of logistics processes
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
- Conversational level of German skills
- High level of user skills for MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Customer oriented and economical mindset and acting
- Analytical mindset, structured way of working as well as affinity for numbers
- Personal resilience, team- and customer-oriented mindset and acting, good and effective self-management
- Willingness to occasionally travel (1-2x a year)
