The Role
As our Senior Finance Analyst, you'll be at the heart of Oviva's financial operations, driving performance insights, process improvements, and strategic decision support for one of our fastest-growing markets - Germany.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'll partner closely with the German Market Leadership Team and collaborate with Group Finance, Accounting, and Business Intelligence to deliver high-quality reporting and actionable financial insights.
This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical finance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the key financial partner for the German leadership team, supporting strategic and operational decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the German market.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting and actionable insights that influence leadership decisions.
- Drive scenario analysis and financial modelling to guide resource allocation and business growth.
- Coordinate with the Accounting and BI teams to align KPIs and ensure transparency in financial performance.
- Support month-end closing, internal controls, and group consolidation processes.
- Lead process improvements, automation, and ERP (NetSuite) enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
About You
You're a detail-oriented and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You enjoy turning data into insights and insights into action.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 4–6 years' experience in FP&A or similar analytical finance roles.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and financial modelling skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in investment banking, high-growth scale-ups, or similar environments.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English.
