As a Business Development Manager, you will be an integral part of Carl Zeiss Meditec's highly performing commercial team, contributing directly to our market expansion across the GCC region. This role focuses on accelerating revenue growth by increasing the share of wallet with existing strategic accounts and acquiring new customers. You will lead efforts in market penetration, portfolio expansion, and identifying untapped opportunities in the healthcare distribution segment, including hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers.

You will be responsible for creating and executing strategic sales plans, achieving defined targets, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your success will be measured through sales performance, customer engagement, and market intelligence sharing.

In addition, you will take the responsibility “together” with the Area sales Manager EMEA, responsible of Saudi Arabia, of all regional head quarter matters in front of local authorities in Saudi Arabi.

  • identify, target, and develop new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare groups across the GCC

  • increase the share of wallet within strategic accounts by promoting and expanding the existing product portfolio

  • develop and execute a regional sales and business development plan aligned with the company's growth objectives

  • conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and business risks/opportunities

  • deliver monthly sales forecasts, activity plans, and reports with accuracy and timeliness

  • educate distributor and customer staff on the proper use, application, and clinical benefits of ZEISS solutions to ensure optimal utilization and customer satisfaction

  • establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals, procurement leaders, and decision-makers

  • participate in relevant trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the brand and identify new leads

  • collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (marketing, product management, service) to support go-to-market initiatives and product launches

  • maintain high standards of professional conduct, ethics, and compliance with healthcare regulations

  • represent the company in front of the local authorities in Saudi Arabia and follow up all licenses, permissions and tasks related to the RHQ in Saudi Arabia


  • bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)

  • minimum of 7–10 years' experience in business development or sales in the medical device or healthcare sector, with proven success in the GCC region

  • previous experience working with distributors and managing indirect sales channels is highly preferred

  • strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem in GCC (regulations, reimbursement, procurement)

  • demonstrated ability to build strategic customer relationships and close complex sales

  • excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • analytical mindset with the ability to convert market data into actionable insights

  • high level of self-motivation and ability to work independently and within a multicultural team

  • fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)

  • willingness to travel frequently within the GCC region
