As a Business Controller (m/f/d), you will act as a key link between Finance and Operations. You will ensure transparency in the financial performance of our production site in Werther and support the management team in achieving its goals.
- Take ownership of the reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all financial activities.
- Analyze financial results and performance trends, providing clear explanations and actionable recommendations to improve operational outcomes.
- Partner closely with production and technical teams to identify cost efficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee costs, investments, headcount, and capacity utilization to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Enhance and standardize financial reporting, forecasting, and KPI frameworks to support effective decision-making.
- Monitor inventory and working capital, implementing measures to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Contribute to business cases, investment proposals, and project controlling while supporting audits when required.
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to both the Production Unit Manager and the Finance Manager, fostering a strong business partnership.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least three years of professional experience in controlling or finance, ideally gained in an industrial or manufacturing company within an international corporate environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of financial and operational drivers
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems (ideally Infor M3) and BI/Data Analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
- Fluent in English; good command of German preferred
- Results-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven personality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment
