- You will be fully responsible for the entire program and hold all the strings in your hands, while leading an interdisciplinary team. You will interact with Directors, Vice Presidents, and Product Management as equals.
- Your task will be to assess technical challenges against market requirements, evaluate feasibility, and derive projects accordingly.
- You will lead a team of project managers with direct line reporting into the program to achieve program objectives.
- The Opto Materials Program will encompass Lasers, Micro LED, Telecommunication, and Solar Applications.
- You will channel input from industry partners and universities into AIXTRON, using it for improvement, identifying synergies within AIXTRON, and leveraging them
- You have a completed degree at least a BS in an Engineering, Physics or Materials Science related field – Ideally having a MS or PhD
- You bring 10 years of professional experience in the field of Opto Materials or Technologies.
- Ideally, you have experience in project management and/or program management
- You are a team player and a role model for your colleagues as well as having experience in leadership roles
- Personally, you stand out with excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as analytical and structured thinking.
- Ideally you are fluent in English and German
