About the Role
SprintRay is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to ensure that our customers and sales account managers receive the best possible solutions to support SprintRay products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of systems thinking and customer experience, and be able to support workflows associated with SprintRay products. We are looking for someone who possesses a positive attitude and enjoys collaborating with others in a fast-growing environment.
To support our team at our European office in Weiterstadt (near Darmstadt), we are looking for you to join us immediately as:
Customer Support Specialist – Order Management
In this role, you will help ensure that our customers and colleagues in sales receive the best possible solutions to successfully bring SprintRay offerings to market.
The ideal candidate understands systems and customer processes, has a positive attitude, and enjoys collaborating with others in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage standard orders and periodic promotional orders across our European sales regions (France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Eastern Europe, and the EMEA region)
- Take responsibility for coordinating the entire order-to-cash process
- Support the SprintRay sales team and our distributors with inquiries and quotations
- Proactively collaborate with sales and distributors by providing regular updates on orders, deliveries, and backorders
- Serve as the central point of contact for sales and distributors regarding product information
- Maintain and update customer data in the ERP system
- Handle invoice disputes and returns
- Work with the finance department on new customer accounts and credit issues
- Coordinate with the logistics team for shipping and returns
- Prepare various reports, including tasks related to month-end closing
- Participate in global and local projects as well as training sessions
- Provide professional and efficient handling of customer inquiries
Required Qualifications
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or a relevant university degree, with proven professional experience in a comparable role
- Fluent English and good command of German or French, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of an additional European language is a plus
- Proactivity and strong communication skills, which are essential for success in this role
- Experience in direct customer contact
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems and ticketing systems
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Team player with strong cooperation and collaboration skills
