About the role:
The IT Operations Engineer ensures reliable, secure, and standards-compliant operation of local infrastructure by resolving escalated technical issues, maintaining and configuring key systems, supporting global and regional IT project rollouts, and mentoring 1st-level support staff.
- Resolve support tickets and site-specific IT issues related to infrastructure and escalated user incidents
- Perform on-site maintenance, inspections, and updates for servers, network equipment, and related hardware
- Configure and deploy infrastructure devices following regional or global build standards and CoE guidelines
- Support local IT project rollouts, including migrations, hardware replacements, and system upgrades
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, installations, and data center interventions, ensuring proper documentation
- Maintain compliance with IT policies, update infrastructure documentation, and mentor team members on complex tasks
- Experienced IT professional (3–5 years) with a strong background in infrastructure and desktop support across multi-site or enterprise environments
- Proficient in Microsoft technologies, including Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and Windows Server administration
- Solid understanding of networking and infrastructure, covering TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switches, Wi-Fi, UPS, and basic cloud operations (AWS)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with a structured and detail-oriented working style
- Collaborative and proactive mindset, able to manage workloads independently, communicate effectively, and contribute to cross-site initiatives
- Reliable and structured working style with attention to detail and an ability to manage workload independently and prioritize under pressure
