Our German-English Phorms Campus Berlin Mitte is conveniently located in the heart of the city. A nursery, a primary school and a secondary school are all located under one roof - a total of 930 children and young people currently learn and play together within an international campus community. The framework for our international orientation is our bilingual concept, which we implement according to the immersion method. Alongside the charming brick building, the special features of our location are the family-like atmosphere and the kind-hearted spirit. The campus also offers two gyms, a theatre hall and a library flooded with light.
Phorms Berlin Mitte is part of the Phorms Education SE network of bilingual schools and nurseries, that has been enriching the educational landscape in Germany since 2006.
For our secondary school in Berlin Mitte, we are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about inspiring students and supporting colleagues in the meaningful use of digital technologies, starting in the school year 2026/27 as a Teacher in ICT (with a second teaching subject) (in part-time or full-time).
- Planning and delivering engaging, competence-oriented ICT lessons based on the school curriculum for grades 5 to 10, with the potential to extend teaching to grades 11–12 in the future
- Teaching students about computer systems, software applications, programming, and digital literac
- Creating a positive, supportive and welcoming learning environment where every student can thrive
- Assessing students' work, including preparation, correction, and grading for report cards
- Using differentiated teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of students
- Leading professional development for teaching staff, helping the team to harness digital tools effectively for lesson planning, instruction, and individualised learning
- Driving the ongoing development of the school's ICT programme, including new curricular offerings as well as after-school clubs and projects in the afternoon care programme
- Actively participating in school events, departmental meetings, and team meetings to contribute to the continuous development of our school
- Qualified secondary school teacher and holder of a Master's degree (in ICT and or equivalent) and/or a PGCE/PGDE
- Practical teaching experience in ICT
- Ideally, practical teaching experience in a secondary school setting with students in grades 5 to 10
- An interest in the development and implementation of new pedagogical concepts that focus on the individualized development of students
- Passionate and motivated to engage with our pedagogical concept
- Act as a role model for students and enjoy teaching in a secondary setting
