(Junior) FP&A Analyst / Controller (m/f/d)

As (Junior) FP&A Analyst / Controller (m/f/d), you play a key role in steering our company's financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. Embedded in a collaborative Controlling team and reporting to the Head of FP&A, you act as the financial counterpart for selected business functions. With your analytical mindset and strong data skills, you ensure transparency across our financials, drive process improvements, and help shape a data-driven performance culture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, taking ownership, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-evolving business environment.
- Business Partnering: You act as key partner to the head of functions with regards to tracking the financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: You control accuracy of financials within your area (closely working together with the accounting department) and provide explanation on variances versus plan.
- Data Management and Dashboards: You design and maintain data flows between systemsand take part in the creation and maintenance of dashboards using BI tools.
- Process Improvements: You contribute to system implementations and generate ideas how to continuously improve current processes.
- Cross-functional Projects: You work in cross-functional projects as a representative of the FP&A department.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Professional Experience: Several years in controlling and / or FP&A roles, preferably in an international environment
- Technical Skills: Strong command of SAP, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI); familiarity with Tagetik is an advantage
- Financial Expertise: Sound understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Digital Mindset: Interest in AI, automation, and process optimization
- Languages: Fluent English; German or other European languages advantageous
