As our Manager Brand & Activation (m/f/d) for the HnB category, you will lead the development and execution of high-quality brand communication and activation strategies. You will coordinate omni-channel implementation to reach and engage target audiences, and oversee four teams (Brand & Category Content, Own Channel Activation, IR Activations, Sustainability). You will drive the commercial calendar for HnB category with a 12-month view, contributing to overall marketing goals.
- Develop and implement brand and activation strategies based on consumer insights and market trends.
- Lead the planning and execution of brand and category campaigns with the team, ensuring timely, high-quality and on-budget delivery.
- Oversee the development of creative assets, media plans, and messaging for consistent omni-channel communication.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and integrate them into brand activities.
- Build and maintain strong network and relationships with agencies and suppliers to ensure innovative and effective brand execution.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, PMI Marketing Code, and internal policies.
- Act as main point of contact for brand and category topics with PMI OC, EU region, and local stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and develop four teams (up to 14 HC), fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Manage the department budget and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Masters Degree in marketing management, economics or any other relevant studies.
- 8+ years of experience in brand communication or related field, ideally in FMCG.
- 4+ years of leadership and team management experience.
- Proven experience in brand communication, category management, or business partnering roles within FMCG or similar industries.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop diverse teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities, including experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- High level of initiative, creativity, and solution orientation.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a hands-on mentality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex topics in a clear and engaging way.
- High degree of flexibility, adaptability, and openness to change.
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and consumer-centric marketing.
- Flexibility and Mobility – As this is a developmental role, a high degree of flexibility is essential regarding future positions within our organization, potentially including opportunities in other markets.
- Profound experience in cross-functional projects and excellent project management skills.
- High understanding of financial and commercial metrics.
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially in PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
