The purpose of the role is to ensure monetization of data insights and digital solutions. Supporting the income transformation element of the sCore Strategy. You will take a leading role in the top 40 ICA suppliers and a supporting role to enable the countries to monetise insights/digital services with their local suppliers, in addition to developing our Wholesale Media campaign growth

Your tasks:

  • Close alignment with the Global Food Procurement team on the monestisation of the insights – opportunities per supplier and correct valuation of the services including Wholesale Media
  • Customer Lens Tool / Wholesale Media onboarding for the top 40 suppliers
  • Alignment with the local country Heads of Department for them to monestise data insights locally
  • Leads the relationship with the Metro Digital Squad lead for Data and collaborates with them to achieve the agreed objectives for the M|Data Monestisation (Customer Lens) tool
  • Leads the relationship with the Metro Digital Squad lead for Digital Services and collaborates with them to achieve the agreed objectives for the Wholesale Media tool

Your profile:

  • Education: A higher education in business administration, management, finance or similar.

  • Experience: 3+ years' experience in Category management, Strategy or similar.

  • Negotiation skills – understanding the buyer / supplier negotiation process

  • Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills; conveying ideas and opinions clearly to others, making use of unambiguous language, gestures and non-verbal communication; adapting language and terminology appropriately; fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.

  • Analytical skills: Demonstrated strength in both conceptual work and fact-based analytics, supported by advanced analytical skills.

  • Personal Attributes: Attentive listening, as demonstrated by the capacity to pick up significant information from verbal communications; continuing to ask questions; investigating reactions; contributing actively to a joint result or solution to a problem, even when such teamwork concerns a matter which is not of immediate personal interest; organized and structured way of working.

  • Additional skills: Strong project management and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and networks that support the achievement of goals. Skilled at leveraging informal networks to drive results, combined with curiosity and a willingness to learn and challenge the status quo.

  • Behavioural skills: Contributing actively to a joint result or solution to a problem, even when such teamwork concerns a matter which is not of immediate personal interest. Recognizing opportunities and acting on them; self-starting rather than waiting passively to see what happens.
