Service Project Engineer (m/f/d)

Nanoscribe GmbH & Co. KG

Jobbeschreibung
At Nanoscribe, we are redefining what's possible in 3D microfabrication. As a pioneer in high-precision additive manufacturing, we are the technology and world market leader with more than 100 employees and have a worldwide sales and service network with customers in more than 30 countries. With our hardware and software solutions and as an innovation partner for our customers, we enable new, groundbreaking applications in science and industry. To keep our innovations running smoothly, we are looking for a Service Project Engineer (m/f/d) who connects the dots between Service and Development.

As Service Project Engineer, you will be the voice of Service in the development of new products and the improvement of existing products. From the early project definition stage to the final roll-out, you will ensure that service deliverables are not just defined but also delivered. You'll translate complex technical knowledge into accessible documentation and training, enabling our Field Service Engineers to quickly become confident with new products.

This role offers significant room for initiative and requires a high degree of independent, self-directed work. You will shape field processes together with the development team and work closely with the Manager Global Service Operations toward effective spare part solutions. When challenges arise, your contribution will be to bring in-depth expertise, guide the team towards the right sources of knowledge, and ensure that lessons learned are systematically integrated into our internal database.

By the time a new product is launched, you will have ensured that the service team is fully prepared and trained, enabling customers to count on seamless support from day one.

  • A degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable interface role or as a Field Service Engineer.
  • The ability to read technical drawings and handle ERP systems and MS Office with ease.
  • Very good German comprehension (oral) and very good command of English.
  • A structured, precise working style paired with strong interpersonal skills and the talent to convince and connect across departments.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 5–10%).

At Nanoscribe, highly qualified employees from over 15 countries are working on the future of microfabrication. We are passionate about enabling groundbreaking scientific findings and driving industrial innovation. A good work-life balance is just as important to us as constructive teamwork. We promote team spirit with a variety of team events such as a barbecue on our roof terrace or our New Year's party, where the theme changes.

Our corporate culture is characterized by flat hierarchies, co-determination and constructive, open communication at all levels. With us, you can expect a challenging and varied area of responsibility that offers you a great deal of creative freedom.

We offer you

  • Performance-related pay with vacation and Christmas bonuses
  • Pension allowance
  • 30 days vacation
  • A state-of-the-art workplace in the new Zeiss Innovation Hub in front of the KIT Campus North
  • Attractive benefits such as a subsidy for the EGYM Wellpass fitness network, JobRad leasing, Guudcard, capital-forming benefits or for the canteen
  • Employee discounts via the Corporate Benefits program
  • Employee development meetings
  • Individual further training measures
  • Option to work partially remotely

We look forward to receiving your application (letter of motivation) - German or English: both are fine. Do you have any further questions? Then we look forward to hearing from you.
