At Freudenberg, we are looking for an experienced Data Governance and Master Data Management Expert (f/m/d) to join our team and drive the evolution of our data management practices. This role is pivotal in shaping our data governance vision and implementing robust master data management strategies to ensure the integrity, consistency, and accessibility of our data assets. You closely work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain high standards for data quality and governance.

Data Governance & Master Data Specialist (f/m/d)
- You develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive data governance framework that includes policies, procedures, and standards for effective data management across the organization.
- You design and oversee master data management strategies to ensure that critical data entities are consistently defined, managed, and maintained.
- You collaborate with project teams to integrate data governance and master data management best practices into project planning, execution, and delivery.
- You lead initiatives to enhance data quality, accuracy, and consistency, including defining data quality metrics, and addressing data quality issues.
- You align data governance and master data management practices with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- You work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs, promote data governance principles, and facilitate effective practices.
- You develop and deliver training programs on data governance and master data management concepts, policies, and best practices to foster a culture of data stewardship.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.
- Significant experience in data management with a strong focus on data governance and master data management in an enterprise environment.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and master data management strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in improving data quality and managing data stewardship programs.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to data management.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong communication skills and business fluent English language skills, German is a plus.
