We are supporting a world-leading manufacturer of innovative access and control systems for vehicles. With a long tradition in the automotive industry.
Our
client's solutions merge high-level security with maximum convenience are used by nearly all major automobile manufacturers globally.

The company is part of a multinational technology group that operates across 27 countries with 166 locations and approximately 100,000 employees worldwide.

The German division, located near Munich, serves as the global Competence Center for Research & Development in access systems. Their product portfolio includes electronic steering column locks, door handles, and automatic opening/closing systems for various vehicle applications. They are currently seeking a dedicated Controller to join their team neart Munich to support the R&D division.


  • Manage and analyze R&D, cost, and Headcount controlling with a focus on transparency and accuracy.

  • Prepare regular monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in accordance with IFRS, utilizing consolidation systems (e.g., SAP or SAP-FC).

  • Monitor project budgets and cost variances, and derive well-founded recommendations for action.

  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning within the development project environment.

  • Work closely with R&D and Operations management to support sound financial decisions.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as relevant IFRS and audit requirements.


  • Completed degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field of study.

  • In-depth knowledge of finance and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in financial controlling within an international company.

  • Industry experience in the automotive sector is highly desirable, but experience in other industrial sectors is also welcome.

  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and experience with consolidation and reporting tools.

  • Strong analytical skills, as well as convincing communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Very good written and spoken English is essential; German is an advantage, and other languages are a plus.
