Investment Economist (w/m/d)

Nordnet

Jobbeschreibung

Nordnet is a leading pan-Nordic digital platform for savings and investments in stocks and funds. Ever since we started 25 years ago, our purpose has been to democratize savings and investments. Through innovation, simplicity, and transparency, we challenge traditional ways in the financial industry, and give private savers access to the same information, tools and services as professionals. Our ambition is to inspire, to make savings and investments more fun!

Are you ready to be the face and voice of Nordnet and private investors in Germany? Are you looking to make an impact on the financial lives of millions of families across Germany? Here's your opportunity!

We are looking for our Investment Economist on the German market. The Investment Economist is Nordnet's main spokesperson when it comes to topics related to stocks, funds, and pension savings. A big part of our mission is to be a voice in the public debate around savings and investments, on behalf of the private investors. As Nordnet's spokesperson, you'll thrive working proactively to maintain a high visibility in both owned and earned channels, aren't afraid to take a stand, and feel comfortable using your story to inspire others to succeed with their investments.

  • Be the main spokesperson for Nordnet when it comes to savings and investments.
  • Work with engaging angles on relevant topics within the area of savings, investments and private economy by proactively reaching out to journalists, policymakers, and influencers.
  • Develop ideas and create content for Nordnet's own channels such as blog, podcasts, social media and newsletters.
  • Actively communicate through own social media.
  • Represent Nordnet at events such as investor evenings, student gatherings, and other financial events.

A genuine passion for our mission to democratize savings and investments. You see opportunities in current topics and ongoing discussions, and can spark discussions — always on the savers' side. You're driven by understanding the private savers' needs, taking new initiatives, and exploring opportunities. At Nordnet, we believe better saving and investing opportunities should be available to everyone — maybe you consider yourself a savings activist?

You have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and possess the ability to explain the complex financial world in a simple and transparent way. You enjoy working with a focus on results and are ambitious. You have strong collaborative skills while also being self-starting and capable of producing your own material.

  • Expertise to take the lead on stocks, funds, and pension savings.
  • Strong and clear communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Enthusiasm, creative when it comes to producing ideas, and courage to explore new initiatives, inspiring colleagues to do the same.
  • High work capacity and strong execution skills, even under pressure.
  • Good commercial understanding balanced with a genuine desire to spread knowledge.
  • A friendly, positive, honest, and down-to-earth personality with great teamwork skills.
  • A master's degree or relevant experience in finance and/or communication.
  • Relevant experience in banking/finance, as an economic journalist, or perhaps a highly skilled and knowledgeable “finfluencer”?

We offer you the opportunity to work in a great team in Germany located in our new office located in Frankfurt, Central Banking District. You will be part of a friendly Nordic environment with a strong focus on innovation, product development and technology. We are proud of the friendly and humble environment and commit to our goals as a team.

Today, we are 900 employees in Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen and soon in Frankfurt.
