- Reporting & analyzing of regional supply chain processes with focus on the current customs duty situation in the ISMEA market (India, Singapore, Middle East, Africa), including strategic orientation for the future
- Identifying potential for improvement and optimization in the preferential origin status and duty savings
- Co-operating with suppliers and customers to improve the preference situation
- Supporting Group companies in the African market with the preferential data for market development
- Working closely with the functional departments, including Purchasing and Sales
- Preparing data reports, simulations and presentations for various stakeholder, including tracking of results
- Supporting the integration of implemented solutions into the global reporting & data analytics concept and the overall IT architecture
- Supporting and representing the Corporate Customs Expert Preferences in preference processes
- Education and Experience: Successfully completed studies in finance, law or economics with a focus on foreign trade / customs law or data analytics / business analytics, or comparable qualification
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in the field of customs / foreign trade / data analytics / business analytics in an international company
- Expertise:
- Very good knowledge of preferential regulations as well as of operational preferential origin processes
- Knowledge of customs and foreign trade law
- Strong knowledge of data analytics / business analytics
- Good knowledge of SAP (especially SAP GTS) and MS Office (especially Excel, VBA, PowerBI)
- Sound knowledge of other automation and analytics tools, programming languages would be an advantage
- Language skills: Business fluent in English and German (written and spoken), French and Spanish would be an advantage
- Personality:
- Excellent communication skills and strong "can do" mindset
- Good analytical and conceptual skills, strong solution-orientated thinking
- Structured way of working and high ability to work in a team
- Strongly developed intercultural skills
- Willingness to travel globally
