Business Process & Systems Manager – Global Product Specifications (m/f/d)

Your job mission:
The GPS (Global Product Specifications) department is a global system-based function, responsible for coordinating system and specification creation/modifications based on R&D requirements, in alignment with global policies and procedures. This role involves managing projects, timelines, communication, and stakeholder alignment to ensure high quality and timely delivery.
As the GPS Process & Systems Group Manager in the GPS department, you will:
- Undertake accurate and timely data and system setup of GPS in conjunction with BTS (Business Technology Service) and GSD (Global Service Desk) in order to ensure the flawless support of new/changed products and processes including integrated system changes
- Maintain and improve the global business processes between GPS satellites, R&D and other functions including factories to ensure optimum process efficiency including system integration projects and design proposals for sub-systems
- Identify new business requirements and design solutions to integrate these within daily GPS business processes
- Analyze and improve the established GPS specification maintenance processes & procedures including the development of sub-systems
- Ensure the establishment and actuality of working documents and maintain commonality throughout the department, including compatible processes throughout the organization as well as satellite locations
- Identify, plan and execute system enhancements to ensure maximum data integrity, functionality and utilization in proactive support of the evolution of the system
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve SAP/GPS related issues and/or support their resolution in coordination with BTS and GSD and related functions/departments
- Provide test data as required and perform testing of all system modifications driven by, or affecting SAP/GPS functionality including analysis of results and issue diagnosis
- Develop and maintain training documentation, curricula and training plans for GPS staff
- Independent, solution-oriented way of working with inclusion and creation of intelligent technical solutions
- University degree in IT, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent commercial experience and training
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP system maintenance and business process analysis, with direct interaction with IT teams and end users (experience with SAP and Global Product Specification is a plus)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials management
- Proven track record in contributing to or managing end-to-end digitalization and transformation projects across diverse business domains
- Solid knowledge of data and system setup, functionality, and utilization, with a strong focus on data integrity
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage complex planning and problem-solving tasks; structured and solution-oriented working style
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
- Good understanding of databases and technologies; ability to work with or create database structures is required
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Solid IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and basic programming skills
