PiNCAMP is the camping startup of ADAC, ANWB and TCS - in Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland, as well as throughout Europe. An international team of more than 80 digital experts digitises the camping industry by combining the experience and reputation of our shareholders with the speed of an agile start-up. Our goal is to be Europe's leading camping platform. As our User Research & Usability Testing Product Designer (m/f/d), you'll be at the heart of understanding our users and translating insights into impactful design solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to create intuitive, effective, and beautiful experiences.

Your responsibilities in detail:

  • Plan and conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather actionable insights
  • Synthesize research findings and communicate them clearly across teams
  • Use AI-assisted tools to rapidly prototype and visualize early design ideas
  • Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that solve real user problems
  • Lead and participate in weekly design critiques to continuously improve design quality
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and product goals
  • Support implementation by collaborating closely with engineering teams
  • Conduct design QA and identify opportunities for continuous UX improvement post-launch


  • 3+ years experience in product design with a strong focus on user research and usability testing
  • Proven ability to run user interviews, surveys, and usability tests, and translate findings into design improvements
  • Skilled in Figma and prototyping tools, familiar with AI-assisted prototyping tools is a plus
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with product and engineering teams
  • German language skills are a plus, but not required
  • It's a plus if you are a camping enthusiast
