Retail Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Elizabeth Arden is a globally recognized brand in the fragrance and cosmetics industry, known for innovation, quality, and elegance. Our Travel Retail team plays a key role in bringing beauty to travelers across Europe's leading airports.
- Manage, develop, and grow the Travel Retail business across key airports in Northern & Central Europe.
- Implement promotional and counter activities aligned with global brand strategies.
- Coach and motivate a team of Beauty Advisors to achieve retail sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airport stakeholders (e.g. Shop Managers, Category Managers).
Your Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Support the Business Development Manager in managing sell-in and sell-through activities.
- Drive retail sales results and revise monthly targets based on performance trends.
- Plan and execute brand launches and promotional activities.
Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise a team of 9 Beauty Advisors.
- Conduct performance reviews, training, and incentive programs.
- Ensure BA presence, productivity, and appearance align with brand standards.
Retail Operations
- Monitor inventory levels and assortments at point of sale.
- Ensuring merchandising and brand visibility meet company guidelines.
- Coordinate promotional materials and store decorations.
Reporting & Analysis
- Provide monthly sell-out and productivity reports.
- Track Beauty Advisors performance using tools like Simplifield.
- Analyze promotional results and compile competitive reports.
- University degree and minimum 5 years of experience in Travel Retail.
- Solid retail experience, ideally in the Travel Retail environment.
- Proven experience in managing shop staff and driving sales performance.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret KPIs and sales reports.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50–75%).
