Senior Supply Manager (m/f/d)

As a Senior Supply Manager (m/f/d), you are a key interface across the organisation and the domestic market. You collaborate closely with refineries, suppliers, and internal stakeholders such as Dispatch, Trading & Supply, Logistics, Finance, and Sales & Marketing. By combining strategic insight with operational excellence, you play a crucial role in strengthening our supply chain, creating value from contracts, and supporting our long-term growth ambitions.
- Drive Supply and Arbitrage Strategy: You identify and analyse local supply and arbitrage opportunities, leading term and spot deal negotiations in close collaboration with Trading & Supply.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: You negotiate, optimise, and manage contracts with refineries and suppliers, ensuring flexibility, commercial value, and long-term partnerships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: You work closely with Domestic Dispatch, Logistics, Finance, and other departments to secure smooth, cost-efficient, and reliable supply operations.
- Proposal Evaluation: You assess and validate investment and operational proposals from other departments to ensure commercial feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Market Monitoring and Process Improvement: You track market trends, spot sourcing opportunities, and implement continuous improvements in supply and contract processes.
- Strategic Advice and Mentoring: You provide strategic input to senior management on sourcing decisions and guide junior team members in contract and supply optimisation.
- Professional Background: Extensive experience in supply management, local sourcing, and commercial contract optimisation
- Analytical Strengths: Strong skills in evaluating supply options, contracts, and their financial impact
- Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of market dynamics combined with a proactive, solution-orientated mindset
- Technical Proficiency: Confident in using tools for contract analysis, market evaluation, and forecasting.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English to collaborate effectively in an international environment; German is a big plus
