  • Develop and govern a central software catalog and repository of software data to ensure standardization, transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and optimize software usage and license compliance to identify strategic cost-saving opportunities and minimize compliance risks
  • Manage and oversee software request and approval processes, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and seamless collaboration across departments
  • Administer and control software contracts and billing, including monitoring renewal cycles, validating contract terms, and ensuring financial and contractual accuracy
  • Act as a key liaison between IT, business departments, and application owners, providing guidance and ensuring clear communication, alignment, and strategic decision-making

  • Proven experience in Software Asset or License Management (SAM), ideally with tools like Service Now or similar
  • Strong understanding of software contracts, licensing models (e.g., SaaS, perpetual, subscription), and compliance requirements, with experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts to identify risks and optimize terms
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret usage data, perform license optimization, and forecast needs
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues within the IT department
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus

Minimum Salary
Salary will be determined based on professional experience; the formal minimum salary according to Collective Bargaining Agreement is € 46,781.00.
