At our site in Böblingen you will find both as Supplier Manager ASIC (m/f/d) Your Responsibilities Own and manage the performance of Advantest’s ASIC supply chains, including NPI and EOL phases. Plan flawless supply including strategic buffer and inventory management. Ensure Supply during all ramp phases and act as an escalation point when needed. Foster and maintain strong relationships with managed suppliers and partners within the ASIC supply chain. This includes supplier performance management, supplier development and supplier evaluation (SPM). Ensure successful milestone achievement in terms of Time to Market, supply/buffer quantities, liabilities, and cost. Supplier selection through RFQ process, awarding new business after competitively judging supplier offers and review in cross-functional teams. Track and report ASIC supply chain status to upper management and collaborate closely with R&D. Lead project management activities for NPI ramps and roll-over scenarios. Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a technical field with strong business acumen. Experience in strategic semiconductor supply chain management, with a proven track record as a strategic/lead buyer, commercial specialist, or in a similar role. Understanding of-or willingness to learn-ASIC supply chain workflows, including backend and frontend production processes. Demonstrated success in implementing key business parameters into supply chains (e.g., price, lead time, availability, flexibility, contracts). Strong communication skills across functions, cultures, and hierarchy levels; fluent in English (verbal and written). Excellent self-management, coordination, and planning skills. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in parallel with a proactive work style.
