In the Role as Area Steering Chassis & Cab, you will be a key member of the newly established Unit Area Steering Chassis & Cab collaborating with global and local stakeholders in the Group R&D as well as key stakeholders in the Brands and Finance.
In your new role, you will…
- drive the development of the Area Chassis & Cab, through close steering of the respective R&D budgets
- be involved in project initiations and cost estimation processes
- steer and track the engineering expenses of our development initiatives in close coordination with the Flows and Line organizations towards the set targets
- be responsible for ensuring the necessary transparency on operational and financial performance (e.g. capacity utilization, bottleneck management, forecast)
- take on work packages for the development and implementation of cplace@TRATON (project management tool in TRATON R&D) as well as further area related systems
- be responsible for continuous improvements related to your daily work
As our new Unit Area Steering Chassis & Cab is part of TRATON Group, we are closely collaborating with all brands in the Group (Scania, MAN, INTERNATIONAL). In your role it's therefore important to have a Group perspective while taking all brands into consideration.
- degree in industrial engineering or automotive engineering/mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
- several years of professional experience in project management and agile way of working
- familiar with the organizational structures of the TRATON Group and its project and committee landscape
- pragmatic and goal-oriented way of working
- team player, communicative and network affine (up to management level)
- proficient in MS Office tools combined with experiences in the setup of databases
- fluent English skills
- Flexible working hours with trust-based working hours
- Up to 80% working remotely as well as 20 days/year working from abroad in the EU
- 30 leave days + 6-8 additional free days due to conversion option
