The FX & EUR Funding Management Team deals with the liquidity management of over 50 currencies. The employees oversee the bank's global CS and treasury activities and operate from Munich as well as remotely.
We are looking for a trainee (m/f/d) to support the FX & EUR Funding Management department. FX & EUR Funding Management is responsible, among other things, for the front-to-back reconciliation of cash positions that are also held in foreign currency, internal and external balance reconciliations of the most important clearing accounts as well as the operational liquidity management of the nostro accounts of UniCredit Bank GmbH.
Workingtime: Full-time
Your task in the area of FX/EUR Funding Mgmt.:
- Supply of treasury and trading units with information on movements on Nostro accounts in euros and foreign currencies
- Provision of liquidity on over 350 nostro accounts, taking into account cut-off times and manual money reporting
- Front-to-back reconciliation of cash positions held in foreign currency
- Internal vs. external balance reconciliation of major clearing accounts
- Processing of cash claims and processing of inquiries about late settlements
- Support in projects related to FX/EUR funding management and other parallel activities that are relevant to the team in the context of day-to-day business
- Liquidity management of accounts at the central bank

Academic Background:
- You are in the final stages of your Bachelor's or Master's degree, or you have graduated within the past two years
- Ideally, your academic focus is in Finance
Professional Knowledge & Interests:
- You have a basic understanding of liquidity management
- Experience in payment transactions is a plus
- You are interested in financial markets, as well as initiatives and innovations in the field of payment transactions (e.g. Digital Euro)
Technical & Language Skills:
- Microsoft Office: Advanced
- German: Very good proficiency
