At trivago we're in a unique position to shape the future of travel – the traveler's mindset has changed and we're using this opportunity to improve our product, adapt to these changes, and improve our internal processes as we go. To help us achieve this, we're looking for a German & English speaking student with a proactive attitude and structured work approach to support our Partnerships team by providing first-level support to hoteliers. - Resolve content, inventory, or other customer problems and perform the needed corrections and adjustments to our product
- Manage customer email requests promptly and professionally to uphold advertiser satisfaction
- Proactively call hoteliers that have contacted us to solve issues directly and follow up on missing payments
- Maintain documentation of customer inquiries in Salesforce and issue resolution for future reference
- Identify issues and collaborate with the relevant teams and stakeholders to resolve requests efficiently
- Participate in impactful special projects that enhance the operational effectiveness of the Partnerships team
What you'll learn:
- How to enhance your problem-solving abilities by investigating and resolving issues for hoteliers
- Technical and industry knowledge to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Be an adaptable team player with a positive and service-oriented approach to work
- Experience in both independent and collaborative work
- Current enrollment at a university in the Düsseldorf area
- Availability to work 20 hours per week and ability to commute to campus twice a week
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel
- Native-level proficiency in German + fluency in English
Stand out with:
- Previous experience in customer service or similar roles would be advantageous
- Any additional foreign language skills
